My sister told me about kidsurplus.com and I went to the site today and cant believe the deals on there... sorry if this is a repost, but I had to share before Christmas, and they have flat rate 7.95 shipping....how awesome, no matter how heavy your order is!!! What do you guys think of this site??

They are great. I have ordered from them a bunch of times, and my orders always ship really quickly. They also have a really good selection of toys. I just posted about some great deals on their clearance page - I could have saved almost $40 on the Maxim Treehouse!!

Yep, i love them. I just ordered some suretrack and other things from them today to fill DS's stocking.
You just have to be careful there, because deals aren't always what they seem. A lot of times, their discounted prices are the same as or more than other store prices, especially on stuff like Melissa and Doug toys that you can get at Marshall's, etc. |

That is true. Some of their stuff on clearance, like the "Parents Busy Zoo" can be found at Target for cheaper than the clearance price. But I will say their selection is bar none and I love their new flat rate shipping.

They also have great customer service. I just ordered a bunch of stuff for Xmas and they called within 24 hours to let me know that they are out of one item. They put me on a waitlist for when it comes in.
Super friendly! Just wish I had ordered 24 hours earlier to get the $7.95. Tho for all the stuff I ordered even paying the $17.95 is a deal (esp compared to what I just paid in shipping at Amazon!) And they were getting ready to ship it out today (I ordered last night) Yay for kidsurplus.com!! |

I'm so surprised by everyone's posts! I ordered from them and got an email a week later to tell me that three of the items I ordered were out, and that I had 36 hours to respond before they shipped my order. I responded right away to the email with my requests for changes (ordered different sizes of two of the things they were out of and asked them to remove an item that matched one thing they'd run out of,) and it took another day or two for them to email to tell me they'd pass my requests to the warehouse. Then another day or two passed and I got an update that my order shipped. I don't know which items shipped, and which didn't!
Overall, I was impressed with the flat rate shipping fee and the selection, but was frustrated at the delay and the missing items. I attributed the mini-mess to the holidays, and of course stayed polite. I guess everyone's positive experience means I'll probably shop with them again. (Assuming my order arrives in good shape!)
