Default making baby shoes

I wonder if anyone knows how to make some baby shoes similar to robeez or bobux. The design looks pretty simple to me. I want to actually buy some but I can't convince dh why I need to spend $22 on shoes for a child whose big motor skills consist of sucking on her fists LOL. We don't live in a terribly cold place either so that won't work. Now if she was pulling up at least he might be swayed but alas not for a few more months. But I think they are the cutest thing and I think they will stay on better than socks.

Anyone know of a pattern or anyone try this?

Default RE: making baby shoes

i haven't tried the robeez or bobux but i did use a template from martha stewart

they're kind of like mary janes and probably look better on a girl. i did use felt as suggested but you may want to try a sturdier material. i only made them so i could take her pic since i was putting her in a dress and some tights.
