Default Vellum Envelopes: what type of pen for addressing?

Anybody know what kind of pen would be best? I'm considering just a black Sharpie but want to double check. Thanks.

Have you thought about using clear address labels and a fancy font? My penmanship is horrendous so I try to steer clear of handwritten envelopes!

You could get one of the new silver Sharpies or do clear labels that you can print from your computer with a cool font.

I love vellum envelopes. :)
