Default BBQ Ribs Recipe

Does anyone have a foolproof, non-crockpot ribs recipe?

FIL keeps making ribs, and they are awful...and I am not usually picky about my ribs.

Help!

OOOh-OOOh! I have a fool-proof easy yumy one! These honestly are about the most finger-lickin' ribs I've ever had!

Pork Ribs with BBQ Sauce
2 slabs baby back pork ribs (about 1 to 1.5 lbs. each)
coarse salt and ground pepper, or your favorite rub
1/2 c. BBQ sauce plus more for serving

Preheat oven to 400* Season ribs all over with salt and pepper, or your favorite dry rub. Stack slabs on a large sheet of heavy-duty aluminum foil; seal tightly like a packet, and place on a rimmed baking sheet. Cook until meat is for tender, about 1.5-2 hrs.

Heat grill to medium-high; lightly oil grates. Remove ribs from foil (discard foil); brush with sauce, loading them up with as much sauce as they will hold on both sides. Grill until nicely browned, 3-4 minutes (remember, they are already cooked, you are just finishing them off, so don't leave on too long or they will dry out).

Serve with more sauce and plenty of wet-wipes! :)

FIL came home from something or other yesterday with more stinking ribs - we've got about 20lbs of them in the house now - yowza!
