I've bought ds some of the Sonoma jeans. I found that I had to buy them atleast a size bigger than his OshKosh jeans. The first time he wore one pair, he fell and ripped out the knee. I haven't had luck with Target either, they seem to shrink and pill in a few washes. But the price is right, so you get what you pair for. I don't mind shopping for better brands when they are on super sale or off season.

Thank you for letting me know that!! I'll look there for Healthtex when the boys grow out of the Kohl's toddler section.

I don't know if it's common chain wide, but I regularly see Healthtex at JC Penny's. I occasionally see it on their website too, but usually there's been more selection at my B&Ms.

I've been very pleasantly surprised with Kohl's Sonoma brands. The knit items, especially, have held up very well and are really cute. The pants run slim (which we need). We had only Sonoma jeans last year. I recommend them for skinny boys but the knees did wear - no holes, but definite signs of wear. We haven't tried Jumping Beans.

MIL lives close to Kohl's and has the store card (that offers discounts), which means DS has a fair amount of Sonoma brand clothes, mostly t-shirts. They are nice enough but don't last as much as better brands but since they are pretty cheap and don't have offensive cartoon characters, I don't mind them and don't feel guilty passing them to another kid before DS grows out of them.

I just wish MIL stopped buying their underpants. DS must have at least 20 pairs. And that's not counting the last 5 pairs that I left at MIL's. Guess they were 2 for 1 or something like this.

I was at Kohl's yesterday and it looks like the jumping beans brand is replacing the sonoma brand, at least on the 2/10 type item displays. All the sonoma-labeled stuff was being clearanced out and the jumping beans stuff was taking its place. It seems about the same look and quality wise as sonoma to me. I usually buy it for DD to wear to MDO and it has held up fine for that purpose.

I bought a few of the Jumping Bean outfits for my DD's yesterday. They will be perfect to play in this summer. Seems to me they ran small though. They had some adorable solid cotton tshirts but the sleeves on them are so tiny I am taking them back.

I got my DS two really cute Osh Kosh outfits too. The tshirts are super cute and the pictures are stitched on similar to mini boden. They have cute plaid shorts that match with them too.

I did buy a size larger for DS with the Jumping Bean brand than I would have with Gymboree. I don't mind if they'll wear out quickly, these are mostly for DS#2. He's right now in 24 months in Gymbo, but I know will need 2T by spring and all of DS#1 spring stuff is 24 months. But the summer hand me downs will be 2T. So as long as it gets us through the spring months, I'm all set!

I love those Osh Kosh Truck Tees! I might have to pick some up for the summer. I need summer clothing for DS#1. Hopefully my Kohls still has those.

I tried few of Khol's sonoma tops as now we have a store nearby. i bought bigger and they do shrink and fade. I prefer the Target Cherokee brand, the ultimate tees rock. For leggings i like the circo target brand. I scored like 6 pairs at 3.77 each! Okie Dokie by JCPenny tops are also good. bottoms are ok. H&M has cute tops and bottoms. My newest fav is the Green Dog line from Mayc's. My mom buys the majority of dd's clothing from there and it's really grown on me!!!

Thumbs down Sonoma Brand SHRINKS!

Sonoma brand SHRINKS!!! I love their style but EVERYTHING I have purchased (and generally washed cold, delicate, dried on low heat) has shrunken. I really went out of my way to post this.
PS- I am a huge consignment shop fan. Always a great deal.
