Hello! This is my first post on this forum and I've been reading through and searching all of the previous posts for hours now.
We are expecting our first baby. I've been researching strollers to death and think I've narrowed it down to the uppababy vista, the i'coo, or a bebecar stroller. (i really like that these sit a bit higher, although wish i knew the exact measurements) bebecar seems to be a bit on the pricier side, while the other two come with a bassinet which is nice, but i have heard so many amazing things about bebecar too. i also found a really good deal for a rockstar baby infinity system to throw that into the mix. hoping that you all can influence me so that i can make finally make a decision!! thank you so much

I can't really help (cause I haven't been in the stroller market for a WHILE!), but I'm curious to hear about that RSB deal you found. Is it on a particular site?
My sister has been looking into the Uppa Baby and similar strollers so she'd love to get a deal. Thanks! |

it's from a local outlet in canada, they are selling them for $400 for the infinity package, which i think is a pretty good deal....
that's kind of my main reason for considering the rockstar infinity...the uppababy vista is 599, so it's a $200 savings. Just on the fence as to whether I SHOULD spend the extra 200 and get the vista.

I've played around with an UppaBaby Vista at the store, and was mighty impressed. It seemed to be a good value when compared with the Mutsy and Bugaboo, and the build quality was impressive. I think part of what makes it costly is that it includes a nice bassinet. DW encouraged me to go the budget route, so I decided to punt and get the stroller later. (We are still in middle of using our Graco Snugrider.) Ultimately, we did not need the bassinet, so that's another reason we ruled out the UppaBaby. I cannot speak for the other two strollers you mentioned, but I can speak highly of the Uppa. Babygizmo.com has a nice review, along with a video, which can be found on YouTube. Good luck with your decision, and the new baby!

Well, I had an opportunity to check out both the i'coo and the uppababy today. Both are lovely. The i'coo felt a little smoother to push, had a more cushier seat, and was smoother in the reclining position of the chair. It was really lovely, but the uppababy was easier to pull the chair out.
My husband completely preferred the frame of the uppababy to the icoo. Said it looked way cooler and sportier, so I think we are definitely leaning towards the uppababy! Will have a chance to check out the rockstar baby system tomorrow. The warehouse we are going to also will have the rockstar candy strollers on sale for $100....wondering if that's a good deal, or if I should wait until further down the line before even thinking about the umbrella stroller situation. |

The Rockstar Baby and the i'Coo Targo are both made by the same company. I think the Targo is a step or two nicer than the RSB, and I've played around with both of them in the store side by side. The Targo is also about $200 more MSRP than the RSB so there's definitely a market for the RSB! This is just my opinion, but I think the manufacturer took a lot of feedback from the RSB and put the enhancements into the Targo. Have fun shopping!

Bebecar-the quality is unbeatable-they are heavy though. Much better quality than RSB or Uppa. I test drove both a few times. I have been through quite a few buggies in 13 years too & Bebecar just blow me away.
You just won't believe the difference. The only way to get them is from Canada, buystrolleronline is where I bought mine. Which does stink since you can't "test drive" one. If you have any questions just let me know. Trina

Hi Trina,
I actually do have questions about the bebecar. Which model did you get? I've been to the buystroller online website and really wish there was a comparison chart as I'm having a hard time telling the difference between all of the models. So, yesterday went to check out the Rockstar baby stroller. It was nice, the i'coo is definitely 'cushier' but the rsb package is going for 400 (including carseat adapter), uppababy 599 + 60 for a carseat adapter, and i'coo is 699...so i think the i'coo is out. It was pretty funny seeing the two basinets next to each other though, the i'coo basinet makes the rockstar basinet look really tiny lol! i think i would rather go with a bebecar if i'm reaching that price point though. part of me wants the rsb package just for the price and my MIL said she would go in for 350 for the stroller....but i've read mixed reviews about it, some great, some not so great. ahhhhhhh, totally choking here with the stroller choices. |
