Default Zippy for a toddler?

Is the Zippy worth getting at this stage of toddlerhood? My son is 2.5 and we currently use a Zooper Waltz that we bought back in 2005. I really like the Waltz but as my ds gets bigger (and he's not that big, only 28 pounds), it's getting harder to maneuver around corners so I'm looking for something easier to steer. The more I research into different strollers, the more confused I get about which stroller would best suit our needs (can anyone else relate?). I can't even decide if I want an umbrella stroller or a lightweight regular stroller, let alone which brand and model.

The most important features to me are: easy to steer/turn, large canopy, reclining seat, not tippy. We're also thinking that a napper bar or snack tray would be good but that seems to take us out of the umbrella stroller category and I'm not sure if a regular stroller is just too much stroller to get at this stage as ds is approaching age 3. I was very close to buying a Zippy but since it is a bit pricey I don't know if this would be a waste of money, especially since we don't know if/when we will have another baby who could use it. Any suggestions?
