Does anyone have any experience or information about this stroller? My new neighbor's sister has one, never used (don't know why), and is offering it to us for $40. I'll be doing some of my own research and checking out their website, but I thought I would post here to gather info - pros/cons - as well. Any comments are appreciated!
ETA: Also, does anyone know of possible recalls on this stroller model? Last edited by mamica; 05-05-2008 at 06:52 PM. |

IIRC, it is wider than the standard doorway, but if you are just using it around the neighborhood, it is not bad for the money. $40 is a pretty good price, esp. if its never been used! I had the single which I sold for an MBUS. The seatback isn't that high, and the steering isn't as good as my MBUS, BOB or BJCSD. But, for the money its not a bad stroller.

We have one and I love it. I think getting one for $40 is an awesome deal.
I went and looked at a MBUD on craigslist as a possible upgrade, but I like my safare better. I can get it through nearly all doorways, but sometimes it's tight and needs a little push to jam it through. It's more a matter of getting the stroller lined up right. Most handicap doorways are no problem at all. It's maybe 1 in 10 doorways where I fiddle with it. I have never not gotten through. Oh wait, I have the double Safari TT swivel wheel in front. Sorry! I think you are looking at a fixed wheel jogger. I'd only get that if you are a real runner. The swivel wheel models are great.
