Default Socks

We need to get DS more socks, we normally use Children's Place socks as DH's office is above one of their stores, but they've been out of stock for a couple of months - how can you not have socks??? DS is 24-36 months size. Any suggestions, DH is about to go barmy if he has to search through the clean laundry to find a matching pair.

I can't say enough about the Circo ones at Target...about 1.29 and found on the end caps usually...they tend to run a little big...I just picked up some for DS in 12-24 months and he is wearing size 7 Stride Rites (he's 28 months old)...they are the same style as the TCP ones but the rubber on the bottom doesn't get as dirty looking and they wash up great....and you can't beat the price.

I LOVE the socks from Old Navy. They have held up very well for the past year or so that we've had them for ds. I get the dark blue/green ones and just buy all the same color so there's no problems when one gets lost. They've got enough elastic in them that they never come off, but not too much where they squeeze his skin. Although I can't remember how much they cost exactly, they weren't expensive at all. HTH.

I like TCP ones too, but can never find them in the store, only online. Also love the Gap and ON ones. My real favorites (but even harder to find) are the ones from H&M because they come in different colors. The Target ones always faded and lost their stay up capabilities for us.

We love the Old Navy socks too. You can usually get them on a sale for around $1 a pair. I'm lucky enough to live near a Gap Clearance Center and can usually get them for $0.25.

They seem to run pretty true to size and hold up very well. Right now DD is in 7-7.5 shoes and wears the 2T-3T with plenty of room.

I love them because they have the grippy stuff on the bottom that tells what size they are, so when it's time to change them out, you know what's what. I believe the Circo socks at Target are *very* similar to the Old Navy ones.

We love the Gap triple roll socks - 5 for $10. They wear well, don't come off easily, they have em in lots of colors/prints. I find the ON ones get rough after a couple washes. Circo ones aren't bad either, but not much cheaper than Gap and not as good quality.

We tried the Triple Roll socks too, and they are super-nice quality, however my DD has chubby ankles and they were way too tight on her. Just something to keep in mind with triple roll if your little one has bigger ankles.

I agree that the Gap socks run small around the ankles. We really like the Carter's socks.
