Angry Frustrated w/leaking problem w/Foogo

I bought a Foogo sippy cup last month in anticipation of weaning DD. She turned one year old a couple of weeks ago. I started giving her whole milk in the Foogo. I noticed some leaking problem right away. At first, I thought that either DD didn't know how to drink it right or I didn't put the cup together correctly. I tweaked around a bit and try to get it on as tight as possible but I am still having problems.

I can't figure out why the cup is leaking at all. It has leaked in the diaper bag when it's set on sideway. The most bizarre thing has been that drops of milk would come out even if it's just upright and stationary on a flat service.

Do I have a defective product? Anyone else have any suggestion? I am thinking of calling the customer service.

I just bought two Foogo sippy cups and one Foogo straw cup. The straw cup is fine but both sippy cups leak, some of the time. At $15 per cup, you could say I am annoyed. Like you, my cups have leaked a few drops of milk when set upright! I hope someone has an answer to this!

I just got through talking to customer service at Thermos. The lady told me that the only thing they can do is for me to send them my sippy cup, then they will send me the straw cup. It sounds like they are familiar with this complaint. It's good to know that the straw cup doesn't leak.

But now, in the mean time, I have to buy another cup to give her milk in. I prefer something that insulates fairly well. Any suggestion?

I've never had the sippy cups, but we've had the straw cups for a year. They don't leak **while closed**, but once you open them you have to be sure that they stay upright. If they are laying on the side or upside down, they will leak like a faucet. HTH
