My wife and I went to a boutique today to look at the Baby's Dream Omni, which they have apparently discontinued. While we were there, we looked at the Cocoon furniture (www.forevercocoon) and really liked the 3000 series. I know in the latest edition of the book it says that it was a Baby's Dream product that had been restructured by Storkcraft. The pieces seemed reasonably priced for the quality and the construction appeared to be top of the line. We found the crib for $499 and the dresser for $719.
Has anyone had any experience with this brand? After searching the forum, I found one person who had it and was happy, but that is it. It seems to have all of the top features - JPMA certified, spring mattress board, solid wood construction, dovetailed drawers, excellent finish, etc - but I am hesitant to buy a crib at this price without knowing a little bit more about it. Any information from someone that has this product or has reliable information about it would be greatly appreciated. |

We bought Cocoon furniture (I think ours is the 1000 series) and we love it. We have a convertible crib, large dresser with hutch, and a small 3-drawer dresser we use as a changing station. The furniture is really beautiful and looks more "high end" than the price! Friends who ran to Bellini or PBK when pregnant are surprised at how fancy ours looks, esp. for the price! The drawers open and close smoothly, and the pieces feel very substantial. We are VERY happy!

WCmom, thanks for the info, we are going to order the crib/dresser next weekend (baby due in Feb) and are glad to hear from someone who has used the pieces.
