We love ours, but it came from somewhere else. Call Stanley cust service and ask about the model you are interested in specifically. They should have a good idea. Ours got ready to deliver quicker than they predicted, but we wanted to wait on some of the other items so we could clear out the room.

Which one do you like?

Thanks for the reply I like the stanley Isabella built to grow.

http://www.csnstores.com/Isabella-Bu...s-YAS8866.html

Buybuybaby says 8-12 wkd but crib/teen city says 2-3 wks. I had read only bad reviews abt crib city so don't want to risk it. If it really is going to take 8-12 weeks I will buy one of the cribs in stock which I don't love but guess have to pay for not planning ahead.

Their 8-12 week thing may be their standard "delivery time" as it was with ours - and with a lot from what I read. Is that the only piece you're getting? If they have to wait for things from different manufacturers, they may hold it up.

I know from speaking with Stanley that Isabella is one of the more popular lines, so they're probably not too low on the stock. As far as getting your store to turn it around quickly, I dunno.

When do you need it? Our babies always stay in our room for the first couple months.

Thanks.
I saw that you wrote you have contentment crib.is it the stationary or built to grow? When I called a local retailer they told me they had the contenetment in stock but I havent seen in real life.
How do you like it/

My daughter is already 10 mths.Actually we lived in an apartment when she was born and had room only for a portable small crib in our room .Now that I have moved to a bigger house abt a mth ago and have a separate room for her , I want to have a nice nursery for her though I know she might need crib maybe only for less than an year now..tahst the reason I want it asap instead of waiting 3 mths for a crib.

I am thinking of going with contentment which is in stock or
Savannah by Munire which is also in stock at crib and teen city but maybe a little too cream/yellow..

what do u think?

We have the regular sleigh crib with a drop rail. For your case, if you like the styling and it goes with the other things you have (or plan to have) in her room, the BTG one might be perfect. I didn't research those much as they were JUST coming out when I was buying and we knew we were interested in a trundle or a twin/full bunk with captain's drawers eventually.

We passed the crib on to DS, but we got another one from a friend until DD was completely done with it. I moved her out earlier than a lot of her peers because she was jumping out and making me nuts. There's a thread I started about handing down a curvy white crib to a boy, but DH doesn't complain aloud now that I've painted the room a nice shade of blue and made a green crib skirt for it.

I would call Stanley and ask them some questions - like who is likely to have the one you want in stock and at a good price. The retailers often know things like that.

I know nothing about Munire other than what's in the BB book.

Thanks again

I am not going to really convert the crib into a full bed realy,i just like the looks of convertible cribs

I will either use the crib for the next baby( hopefully)....even if not..ther are too many pretty beds for girls that I wont be able to resist,I am sure...so probably the dropside should work for us..

will decide today after calling stanley..thanks for the tip.

Thumbs up

We have the exact same model but in a different color, Madison.

We ordered it at BBB and it they told us the standard 6-8 week delivery timeline. We received a call within 4 weeks that it had arrived.

It was delivered without any troubles, although we originally ordered it as a pick up but it wouldn't fit in our car.

As per the chat rooms, I opened the box and checked the color before I signed off on it.

Good luck. We love our Young America crib. It's solid and looks beautiful. Just a side note, if you plan to get a mobile, remember the sides are slightly bigger so keep the receipts for the mobile just in case you need to exchange it.

We didn't get ours from BBB, but from a local retailer. It came in much sooner than we had expected (approx. 2 weeks after we placed the order). We got the 2nd Nature Built-to-Grow. It's a sleigh crib, so it appears to be slightly bigger than most cribs because it can't lean directly against the wall. Luckily, we have a larger-than-average nursery, so it's not a big deal.

Overall, we're very happy with the crib. It's excellant quality and looks great!
