Madagascar Happy Meal Toys

The obsession continues. Anyone know if there's a way to know which McD's is carrying which of the toys? I need Alex, the monkey and King Julien. They all seem overrun with Skipper the Penguins right now. I got rid of one when I swapped it for a Marty, but now there are a ton of Martys, too. Anyone have tips on this?

check out a mcdonalds in the walmart stores -
DS wanted a toy - not food - so I asked her which toys they had.
she dumped a bunch of different ones on the counter.

have you just asked for the toys?
they cost $1+ each - skip the food.
ask the mcd which toys they have.

good luck!

Yes! I've been buying only the toys. But the McD's by me don't have a hint of the three I don't have. Drr! There are three or four that are not convenient but not completely silly to try to get to; I'll try them next.

I didn't know you could just buy the toys! DH and DS saw the Happy Meal commercial last night, and DH decided we needed to get the penguin that says, "Smile and wave." I was wondering how I was going to do that!

I was a little disappointed to notice that the Penguin has a different voice than the Skipper we know. I was like, say what?! It's close, but it's not that actor's voice. So far, all the others I have are the same actor. Lovin' Jada's "M'hmm, you know dat's right!" Hahahahaha!

That's a shame. I love the Skipper! I've seen/heard the first Madagascar a lot, and the Skipper always makes me laugh!

Sorry, I don't remember their names and haven't seen the 2nd movie yet.

Mine are all opened, have been played with a short time and will eventually find their way into the trash, but I have
2 lions
1 giraffe
1 zebra
2 lemurs
and I think 2 hippos

and clearly we go to McD's too often, but so that I don't look *that* bad, I do have 2 kids. ha ha

Anyway, we got the giraffe and the zebra at the same time, otherwise, the girls have always gotten the same ones in their happy meals. So, I just thought they switched them every week since we were going almost every Tuesday.

Just to clarify -- the MOVIE is the same actor. The TOY is not the same voice.

It's okay - I knew what you meant! We did see M2. I'm looking forward to getting it once it comes out on DVD.
