Default AG Bitty Twin vs Corolle 14" Vanilla Toddler

Just a super quick review. The Bitty Twins arrived tonight from the North Pole, just a bit early. LOL. Kinda disappointed that they are in one box. Um, weird. So, I guess my girls get one present from Santa, to be opened by both of them. Not sure how that will go over. We were expecting to at least be able to wrap them separately and that d/n seem possible.

Comparing the BT to the Corolle 14" Vanilla Toddler doll, *I* prefer the Corolle doll personally. (Obviously, my preference isn't the big issue, the doll is mainly for DD#1 and also for DD#2 so they don't fight over them). The plastic parts on the BT are harder plastic. The Corolle doll has a nicer, warmer feel to it. The hair on the BT seems nicer, but then again, it hasn't been dragged around the house for the past year either. The BT are definitely "chubbier" than the VT and I highly doubt the clothes will fit (they are about the same height, though).

That's about all the info I have without taking them out of the box. We got 1 brunette and 1 blonde. I'm curious about how they go over on the big day.

You could just take them out of their box and find really nice boxes to wrap them in individually so they each could open one. My mom bought my niece and DD the twins a few years ago and put my DD's in a cradle she had bought and presented it that way. She kept the book for her house since their was only one.

When I bought Sarah's BT I "split" a set of twins with a friend LOL and I just put her in a nice gift bag wrapped in tissue paper.

I think the Corolle VT is just a lovely, beautiful doll. But she's like a little girl, not a toddler IMO. The BT is more of a toddler. The BT is definitely much easier to keep nice than the Corolle doll, but only because the Corolle doll has longer hair. It brushes out well though.

FWIW, the Corolle doll can wear the BT stuff (it'll be big), just not vice versa.

And obviously, I have given this waaaaaay too much thought LOL!!
