Default Car Seat / Height Question

Although I think I know the answer, I'm hoping some of the "experts" can help me. My DD is almost 3 y.o. (March birthday) and has almost outgrown her Britax Roundabout (31 lbs. / 38.5 in). I've been looking into options for her next car seat and have narrowed it down to the Graco Nautilus and the Britaxx Frontier. We actually purchased the Nautiulus for DH car and DD loves it. Here's my question...can I / should I put her in the Nautilus or should I invest in another convertible car seat with higher height limits (Britax MA was suggested by a friend.)

Any suggestions would be greatlly appreciated.

My DS also has a March birthday!

You didn't specifically say, but I'm assuming you don't plan to rearface her? If not, then I think the Nautilus or Frontier are a good plan. The MA would also be fine, and for travelling and ease of installation about the easiest, but at this point it makes more sense to get one of the combo seats that she will use longer than the MA.

Yes, she is FF. I realize now that I should have kept her RF for longer than I did, but she has been FF for so long now I don't think I could switch her back. I will definitely keep my newest addition (6/08) RF longer!

Any seat with a harness is basically 'the same' safety wise, so no need to buy a convertible to be 'safer' than a combo seat (like the Nautilus or Frontier, both of which have excellent harnesses and nice big EPS foam filled headwings). The Marathon is fantastic, but if you don't need the RF feature, no need to pay for it
