Ikea bookshelves?

I want to get the "cube bookshelf" look of the Land of Nod 8-cube bookshelf without paying $350. Someone recommended the Ikea Expedit series. My nursery furniture is the Munire Urban in Espresso. Anyone have the Expedit in the brown/black? How dark is it? I'd take a rich, dark brown, but I don't want black. The on-line images look pretty black.....

i don't have it, but i've seen it several times. it's definitely brown, not black.

We have an Expedit bookcase in the brown color - it's really dark, but brown, and it has a faint woodgrain-type pattern to it. We have it in the same room with other 'real' furniture that is espresso finish, and I think it blends in fine.
