Would it be really hard to keep clean? Any tricks?

I'm thinking about my white tile floor and how much I hate it.
I think I would look for something else because of how annoying it is to keep it clean (especially the grout).Beth

NEVER.
We had white tile topped counters in California and we HATED THEM. What a bear to keep clean! You had to mind where you sat a wine glass as it would get tippy. Cutting boards slid on them. I used ALOT of bleach to keep it clean. I would lay white paper towels down and SOAK in bleach. (I did not know how bad bleach was back then). It was always cold, which is unpleasant in the mornings. Thoroughly annoying. I could see many of the same issues with a table.

No! We had white tile countertops in our first house, which we thought looked really nice when we bought the (new) house. After we actually had to use them and clean them, I hated them. They not only get stained but also get grey scratch marks really easily from pots and pans. They come off, but takes some scrubbing.

I wouldn't because it would be so hard to keep clean.

If you have another option, then no.
If you don't have an option, then here's some cleaning tips - I have white tile countertops that will be history in the kitchen redo next year. 1. wipe up all spills IMMEDIATELY 2. Bar keepers friend for cleaning tough stains 3. Magic Eraser for the grout and then seal the grout - once or twice a year. Our's still looks good, but it is more work than another material. Our next countertop will probably be engineered stone - no sealing, no staining - I can't wait. |

Absolutely not. Aside from how hard it would be to keep clean, white tile wouldn't fit in with my kitchen at all.

Nope. It would drive me batty to keep the grout clean.
