Explaining conception to a 5yo

We basically told him that daddy gave mommy a seed and it grew into a baby. Now he's asking more details like, "how did the seed get inside you, did you eat it?". Sometimes it catches me by surprise and I don't really know what to say to him without giving TMI. Someone posted great answers to these questions a while back, but I have searched and can't find the post for the life of me. I didn't really expect to be having this kind of conversation with a 5yo, so any help with how you all have explained it would be greatly appreciated.
