Default Mom and Tot Fitness DVD

Anyone heard of this? http://www.momandtotfitness.com/product.aspx?id=1.

I need to do something to work out and was thinking if I found something the older 2 kids could participate in, we could do it together.

If not this, any ideas for something similar?

That sounds interesting. I checked my library and they don't have it. Another idea for you is mommy and me stroller class. I used to do this, would have both kids in my PT E3 with doubles kit and workout with all the other stroller moms. It was a really hard workout. The only reason I had to quit doing it was b/c my older son's preschool drop off time conflicts with the class start time. If you want to work out, w/o having to worry about your kids being in someone else's care, I'd recommend the stroller class. The great thing is that after class, we'd usually let the kids play together (usually we would rotate different parks or mom's houses as the meet up), so it's like a playdate too and the kids really look forward to that.

Is the stroller class a chain thing? I did a quick google and didn't find anything near me. Or, is it something you just did with friends?

I don't have a stroller for all 3 kids, so I'm not sure it would work, but maybe during preschool.

I don't think there is a big national chain. The woman who does it in my area is trying to make hers a chain in our region, a chain of her own. She started out doing it at the Y and b/c they were difficult to deal with (our Y is very flakey), she branched off on her own. I only found out about her via word-or-mouth, but she does advertise now at the ob's office and some other random places like in our MOMS Club newsletter. Ask around, or check with some local gyms to see if they have a mommy and me stroller class. They will probably be called different things at different places. I had actually been looking for one long before the woman who started it in my area moved here. She got the idea when she used to live in another state and that is how she started it up in our area. One of the girls in her class moved to CA and has now started her own stroller class. It's one of those things you may see popping up more often, but b/c there is no national network, it may be difficult to easily look up which areas have them. Really, it's kind of a cool business for a SAHM to start up if you ask me...
