Default Anyone do acupuncture with In Vitro?

I did this 3 yrs ago before IVF. Since the IVF worked, I am doing this again this time around. I have been having treatments twice weekly the past few months. My acupuncturist wants to see me right before the IVF procedure and right after.
I didn't do this following the procedure last time because I was afraid to move after the IVF transfer!
Wondering if anyone here has been through this? TIA!

My wife did for I think 3 or 4 of our total of 5 unsuccessful IVF's - obviously it didn't work for us.

I haven't but have worked with many women who have. My attitude is, "Can't hurt!" Good luck.

I had an IUI and I did do accupuncture with it. The IUI was done twice, two days in a row. I had an accupuncture session after each IUI and then had another session a week later. This was our first IUI and it took and we now have a 2.5 month old! I didn't know if I "believed" in the whole accupuncture stuff...but I found it relaxing and I figured it couldn't hurt! I'd say go for it!!

Thanks Alaina and Colleen. I kinda figured if that was part of the reason IVF worked for us last time, we will do it again. However, I am mostly nervous about doing the acupuncture after the transfer. I do tense up a bit as the needles go in! It am pretty relaxed after that point though!

Hmmm. Colleen, now that you mention it, I should have done acu with my IUI's too. It just occurred to me that I only did it with IVF!

They recommend it at the clinic I went to.

I was going to do it this fall with an IVF cycle but we got a big surprise last month. I did not do it my other 5 IVF cycles and I either didn't get pg or miscarried so I figured it couldn't really hurt.

Edited to add: Good Luck!
