If you don't know what it is their site describes the concept better than I ever could!
Have you used it? Have you ever received an invite for an echoage party? I live in a pretty crunchy granola area (Teva sandals were born here). I was thinking instead of a bunch of gifts we will never use, this would be a good idea. 1/2 $ goes to charity the other to a big gift for the child. All of the moms in my playgroup either put on their evite, no gifts please, you can bring things to be donated to a local charity OR put my child likes X,Y,Z. Just to give you an idea of our slightly different etiquette. My moms would be puzzled on what to get DD anyway. We don't really have plastic toys, we are vegetarian, so certain things like Crayola's (contain beef fat), don't go with our lifestyle. I make my own Playdough, etc. You get the idea. So I guess I am wondering in an area like mine, do you think this is okay? Her big gift will be the Go Green Kettler Trike (made with over 95% recycled materials). Thanks for the input!
