Default BJCE: Is the seat supportive?

I believe I read that the City Mini's seat is literally just mesh and we were hoping that was not the case with the Elite. Is there some sort of structure to it?

Uh...the Mini seat is not mesh - not at ALL like the Volo and such. There is a mesh pouch for stuff on the back of the seat, and when you recline the seat, there is a fishnet type breezeway that can be covered above the child's head.

The Elite seat is definitely larger than the Mini, but they're both pretty padded. Maybe the Elite has more, but I'm not sure. One is in DH's trunk right now, so I can't compare. If you look at this pic of the Mini and see the bars of padding at the bend of the knee, that same kind of padding is in the back of the seat. You can actually see more of the padding in the seat of the Elite in this pic.

With the Elite, you also get the extendable legrest, which DS could have used when he fell asleep in the Mini yesterday.
