If you're in the market, try and look for a place that has some in stock. Cuz if you order, expect to wait a long time.

Our BJCMD has been on order for like 6 or 7 weeks now. I just called my store and they checked with BJ. I'm told another 10 days at most (hasn't shipped yet). Of course, they've been telling me that for some weeks now. And I bought from what is apparently a pretty huge independent store too. I wouldn't think BJ would want to piss off this company (they dropped Inglesina cuz Inglesina kept botching up orders/deliveries).

Thankfully, the 2nd baby isn't expected for months. Otherwise, I'd be pretty pissed. I just wanna play with it. But, I thought I'd warn others looking into one in case they're in a rush.

I just bought one on ebay. It said it was in stock. I certainly hope this is the case.

I hope so too. I know some eBay sellers order from the company and have them drop ship. I found out about the company Newegg.com cuz I bought a memory card one time and all the seller did was order it from there for me.

I think my Zippy came that way. Seller prolly got the dealer price and passed on the savings to me.

I ordered my BJCM last month from upside over while the color I wanted was "in stock". A guy that worked there called me the next day and said it was on backorder until mid-May (still haven't heard anything yet). I'm not worried though since I'm not due until July!

Whoah! I wonder why my color wasn't in stock. Or maybe it was just so popular a color it sold out? Last week in Maui, all the BJCMs I saw were my color (orange/grey). Thankfully, we're not due til Sept. so we can afford to be patient. These delays would kill me if I was ready to use teh stroller now.

Amazon.com is showing both the BJCM and the BJCMD in stock (free 2 day shipping w/ amazon prime). FWIW, I love my BJCM!

Got a call back, it came in today! Whee!

Not sure when I'll have time to go down and pick it up, but at least it's in.

I bet you'll enjoy it. My Elite Double was backordered from Oct- Feb. when I first ordered it, which made me get a Bob for a friend early - so she could buy it from me, but BJ said they had some companies with outstanding balances and would ship to the companies who were paid up first. So...I thought that was interesting. I got it 1.5 -2 months earlier than expected, so I was happy.

For those with the orange/gray...is the gray light, medium or dark? I can't tell from the picture.
(I'm trying to decide between the black and the orange/gray. But I'd like to get stroller liners in a fun pattern to go with it, too...hmmm....)

If you have a babies r us nearby, they have an orange/gray in the store.
