Welcome to the boards! Although this is an okay deal, it's not stellar. Albee baby routinely has Marathons below $200...right now they have one at less than $180 shipped.

FWIW, I just bought a Britax Diplomat from A Dolce Baby, and it has a mfg date of 10/07. *Not* the most recent of mfg dates, kwim?

As another option, Amazon.com has Graystone and Cowmooflage on sale for $199 w/ free super saver shipping and no tax in most states.

I just called travelingtikes.com to check the DOM on the Marathon in "racer". They just sold the last one (DOM 07) earlier today but gave me the Onyx for $199 (plus FREE shipping) and the DOM is 3/09!

I wanted the Onyx anyhow since that is what DS1 has, so now they match! I feel like it is a stellar deal for such a recent DOM.
