since DS poured wanter on our laptop and I can't hardly use this old PC, I remembered a laptop we have that DH's work gave him when he got activated in the army reserves. I have it charging right now. I remember the password being 1st initial last name then some numbers. DH (we) chose the numbers, have no idea if they were 4, 6 or 8.
A while back I tried remembering them and locked myself out, our NICU pics are on it, I knew I could get to them eventually and DH the BOOB insist he transfered them to this old clunker but 'can't seem to locate them'. Anyway, if anyone can PM me or something it would be great. I miss not being able to read threads or anything, Jonas just left with his feelings hurt that he couldn't 'play' on the computer. I'll check back later. Tks, Oh, its a Dell

Is it a BIOS password or a Windows password?

its right when the computer turns on, still has the black screen/no mouse working. I realized its the end of the user name we've forgotten, I could probably guess the password easily. Also remember why we bought the 'I'll show you mommy' laptop, half the keys don't work so we were having to attach a keyboard to it.
DH said since its from work it has a ton of firewalls. Wish I could post on craigslist 'looking for student to help repair my computer' there is a very small private college in my little town, but its super-duper Christian (no offense to anyone, this college is off to itself and they keep to themselves) and students would find it unethical.
