We're slowly weaning, but I stll use my left side. For the past few days my left nipple has been soooo sore & sensitive (my right is a bit sore too).
No lumps in the breast itself & DD doen't seem to have thrush. It feels like a pair of vice grips are on it when she eats (or if I bump it). This is more painful than when she was a newborn & trying to get her latch correct. I am going out of town Wed & will be gone 2 weeks, hope its not serious. I sort of have a sinus infection, could that be in my system? ETA: after she eats awhile it isn't nearly as painful, but if she slips off...OMG, stars!

Is AF coming? Are you sure it isn't thrush? Those are my first two guesses (as long as her latch isn't an issue).

Ok, so I had the chills, & felt really crummy. I started taking antibiotics today and after 2 doses my boobs feel better. I have a sinus infection for sure as well.
Maybe my body reacted weird (no suprise here) and it affected my boobs. Hopefully by tomorrow it will be even better.
