Has anyone been to it? It will be in our area next week, wondering if we should go? It is a free event.

I haven't been to it but read about its first stop in Los Angeles where people had an extremely long wait to get into the train. So we decided not to go to the one in our area--didn't want to find the crowds and long lines.
But if you're in a smaller market, then perhaps you wouldn't have troubles with long lines in your area. |

Here is something I read about the tour on another board:
================================ If it's coming to your town, and you are tempted to see it - skip it. I waited in line for TWO HOURS. To walk inside and watch commercials about how the movie was made. Seriously. I figured there would be some Disney coolness or something, so I waited. Unless you find walking through a coated amtrak train with HDTVs inside showing how a movie was made cool, don't waste your time. Oh wait.. There were clay figures. And, costumes that nobody ever wore because the movie is digitized. I want my day back. |
