Ok, this might sound really bad- but... I need a way to cover a faint light purplish bruise for a photo session in a few hours. And the bruise is on DS so I am not sure if makeup will work
![]() Anyone BTDT? We were heading towards this long over due portrait session without any major incidents- and then this morning DS started climbing. He climbed over his Daddy to get to the couch and get the remote and when he was scooting back down he lost his footing a fell. He didn't fall far at all and he seemed fine (other than bruised ego at the time). Now after some time though he has a faint light purple bruise right where his cheekbone ends under the corner of his eye. I don't want it to show up in photos because I don't want people to see the pics and think we abuse our kid! Is there a good way to cover it up or should I just reschedule the appointment? TIA!

I would reschedule.
DD fell and bruised her nose right before I was going to take her first Christmas picture! I waited one or two weeks and redid it - no big deal. You can try concealer, but I don't think it will cover completely. |

My photographer is so good with photoshop, I wouldn't worry at all. Ask your photographer if they do photoshop after shooting.

However, keep in mind that it might not look completely natural that way. It's hard to say without seeing the bruise, but maybe ask the photographer ahead of time. |

We just got back from the photo session and they don't do retouching there. Its ok though because I was able to look at the pics before ordering and the bruise is not noticeable. Yay!
![]() Thanks everyone for your help
