I would love links to any maternity tops/dresses that anyone is loving right now. My wardrobe from the first time around is almost exclusively black, black, black. I thought I could add in a few new tops to mix things up - and maybe just get a few new accessories to break up all the black (necklaces, earrings, scarves).
One item I would love to find is a lightweight wrap - something like this: http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do...d=1&pid=651225, but preferably in a different color (my size isn't available for this one, anyway). I tried one on yesterday (but, in black!), but really didn't want to pay $88 for a sweater I'll only wear for a few months..... My office is super casual - I normally wear jeans. Thanks!!! |

Old Navy maternity l/s tees are quickly becoming a wardrobe staple for me. I have also managed to stain the sleeves from dribbling salad dressing on my cuffs. (Very upset about it.)
Pants have been tough - I am "plus sized" and tall, so it's tough to find real pants. Target's C9 by Champion line of workout gear has been a lifesaver. I was wearing their fold-top, boot-cut yoga pants for months. (I am now TOTALLY sick of them.) I just got 3, knee-length, fold-top, jersey-knit skirts by Merona at Target for $15 each; they have been a wonderful change from my stretch pants! ETA: Also love the empire waist v-neck dress from ON: ![]() and the cross-front puff-sleeve dress from Gap:

I bought the following shirts from Kohls on sale and am very pleased with them. I find that they go equally as well with jeans, jean skirt, and dress pants. Very comfortable and wash/tumble dry. I also think that the styles are such that I could probably get away with wearing them for a little while post-preggo and not look like I'm wearing maternity tops per se. I selected colors that seem to go well with black, grey, and chocolate bottoms.

I found that JCPenney had good maternity options- they have some things in the store, and also online- be sure to check out the outlet! I am tall and plus sized, so found their options great!
I think I spent maybe $120 total on all maternity wear- I think I was able to get away with wearing my regular pants for a long time thanks to the bella band! Happy shopping! |

I'm breaking out my old maternity stuff now and need a few updated pieces. I don't want to spend a lot though as this is likely our last child.
Motherhood's secret panel pants seem to get reviews and are pretty comfy. I don't think those were out when I was preggo the last two times. This isn't a specific clothing piece but I found this while hunting around for ideas one night. A maternity fashion blog (pretty budget friendly) that gave me some ideas for new things to look for: http://www.academichic.com/category/preggers/

I just opened the old maternity box - most of it is still way too big for me, but the yoga pant style stuff is good for this early stage. It looks like I have a lot of pants but just one sweater/top! How did I make it through my last pregnancy with just one maternity top? Well, I know what to buy this time. I will probably buy off our local mom's listserve or Old Navy - I don't want to spend a whole lot. (I notice that the local moms selling maternity clothing have *very* upscale stuff so I might either do great or be priced out!)

Am I daring enough to wear bright pink when I'm nearing the end and getting pretty big? haha...I'm staying away from the purple - I fear purple as an ex-colleague once said I looked like Barney when wearing a purple dress shirt. :-) |

These are great! The good news is I have two black dresses already (both sleeveless). Once I find a wrap, I can just throw that over and add the tights/cute boots or shoes! Definitely expect those to be in heavy rotation. Though it's very warm outside, my office is always cold, so this will work! |
