Default Monsters v. Aliens @ CVS

CVS has the DVD of Monsters v. Aliens on sale this week for only $5, if you buy $20 worth of selected Coke or Hershey's candy.

I bought two big bags of candy, three 12-packs of Coke (cans) and the movie all for about $28

BTW, has anyone seen the movie? is it cute? scary?

I was going to post the same thing! I bought 4(!!) bags of snack size Hershey candy for Halloween/classroom goody bags (reg 5.99, sale 5.00) and the movie discount coupon (save $15) came off at the register with my CVS card.

Goto CVS.com and fill out the flu quiz (easy), and you'll get a $5 off a $25 purchase coupon.

Also, Tide is on sale (reg 8.99, sale 6.00) plus Puffs is only $1 a box. Spend $25 on select P&G products and get $10 in extrabucks...

A friend saw the movie in the theater with her 9 year old son...She said it was cute.

Pretty good deals!

i got 3 packs of duracell batteries- $30 less a $1 man. coupon for them and a $1.50 coupon-- plus a $5/25 printable. so it was $22.50 OOP and $10 ecb back (altho i had a GC from a transferred prescription so nothing really OOP) -- which i rolled into 4 12-packs coke and 2 12-packs sprite with monster/alien dvd less a $5/25 coupon-- and 3 packs of stickers my kids suckered me into- when all was said and done i paid $4.29 OOP today for all that stuff. (we are in CT so we pay the .05 deposit on cans too) and i have the $10 ecb still since i forgot that in the van and wasn't heading out side to get it with my 2 and 4 year olds walking and my 7 week old in my arms. i miss when walgreens had $5 off new movies coupons when they were released, i wish they still did it. our cvs took that coupon so it made the deals even sweeter !
