Default colored chalk

I am hoping that someone here has some recommendations for brands of colored chalk that erase well from chalkboards. Or, if you have brands that you know of that don't erase well, that would be good to know too so I can avoid those.

I already have heard in a few places that Crayola doesn't erase well, so I need something that erases better than Crayola.

Thanks!

We had good luck with some from IKEA.

Did you prime the chalkboard first? (and again after each wash?)

I have good luck with Crayola DUSTLESS--but it does seem to vary from chalkboard to chalkboard.

I don't know what you mean by priming the chalkboard - but I'm guessing we don't do it. I am a teacher and this would be to use at school. The boards get erased between classes and washed (with just water, I think) regularly, probably each evening.
