Default Gifts, Share your favorites here!

So, as someone here reminded us, Christmas is less than 12 weeks away, AAAARGH!

Time to get organized. We're in pretty good shape, but there's always a few people I cannot figure out. So, What are your go-to gifts (for anybody). I'm looking for inspiration, since I've used all my brilliant ideas

For Family Gifts, We've had success with:

Luggage Tags
L.L. Bean Indoor/Outdoor Thermometers
Domino Sets
Chocolate Fondue Pots
Faux Fur Scarves for ladies and girls
Safes with alarms for tweens
Animal encycopedia and toob of animals for kids
Travel Mugs with Coffee (or regular mugs)
Stem-less Wineglasses with a bottle of wine
Wind-Up Flashlights
Boomerangs
Kites
Breakfast Basket (Pancake Mix, Syrup, Coffee)
Grilling Spices & Rubs with a Grill Brush
Rubix Cubes
8-balls

Please share, I'm stumped...

Wish I had some suggestions for you. I'm the type who does the generic 'bath gel' and such types gifts because I never know what to do and somehow DH and I are always struggling this time of year. Your ideas are GREAT! I'm going to start watching for some of these things to be on sale and pick them up.

One thing I like to give is stuff from a local art store - for us it's the RISD store (Rhode Island School of Design). Simple stuff like keychains, game boards, clocks, etc but designed by artists. I think they're a nifty type of thing to give in gift exchanges.

It was years ago and my nephews loved them they were the Large Steel Safe with Alarm
by Schylling. I did give a copy of the the combinations to the mom though to be sure she could get into them if necessary or if the combination got lost.

What are your go-to gifts?

That's the stuff I LOVE to give, but it can get pricey in this area. RISD would be such a great place to shop!

Here are a few I can think of right now...

Young boy - Stomp Rocket

I really like red envelope:

Year of Seeds:

I bought a few of these to give my sister, SIL and MIL for Xmas gifts

Sculpted Jewelry Tree:

My MIL gave me one for Xmas last year and I absolutely love it. It's so beautiful and unique and looks great out on my bureau

Thanks for the safe info!

My husband has a tall family so the men get LL Bean shirts (size tall).
I've been buying jewelry from Lia Sophia for my tween nieces (from a friend who sells it).
I'm eyeing the address stamps from Expressionary for SIL this year. We usually do stationary for each other.

Really - GC's are my go-to gift unfortunately.
