Mary Poppins! Where are you????

I'm sick again. I have spent 3 weeks sick with one blissful 36 hour period a couple days ago where I thought I was healthy again. It's dinner time. DD immediately throws her plate onto the floor, runs screaming into the living room and sits on the couch screaming for me to read her a book. I ignore her. I have to yell at DS1 3 times to stop looking/touching/teasing DS2 and for wiping his greasy fingers on his pants. DS2 is sitting next to me, leaning on me, flinging mashed potatoes, and asking over and over and over again, "What are all the things we did today mommy?" Literally every time I try to take a bite he smashes into me and I have to put down my fork and tell him to sit on his own chair and eat. And DH is fuming and losing his temper, even though he's only been home for 15 minutes and I've had to put up with this all day long. Every day. With no breaks. I have a gigantic headache. I'm stir crazy because DH has worked all week and I haven't left the house for days. I'm stressed out about money, H1N1, and Christmas. It can't be this hard. There has to be a better way.

I would give much for a sick day.

If anyone finds my sanity, temper, patience, or inner peace, please send them back. And someone please give Mary Poppins my phone number.

Oh, Happy Update: I will be leaving the house tomorrow. With DH and no kids. I will be shopping and having dinner alone with DH for the first time....in a really long time. I am SO excited! I don't even care that I've lost my voice! Now off to find a good sushi restaurant in Aurora.
