Default OT: Party Favors for older kids

We're having a baseball themed park party. Any favor ideas? Guests are both boys and girls and some probably aren't that into baseball but may come for the park fun. I was thinking if I bought a big bag of practice balls that could be a nice gift - for those who LIKE to play ball. Any other ideas?!

Thanks.

At my son's 5th birthday party this weekend, I gave each child a Lil Webkinz
tree frog.

For my daughter's 8th birthday party next month, I am giving each girl
an Avon goody bag with a lip balm, hand lotion & shower gel.
I am giving each boy a Lego kit. There are Halloween Lego kits at
Target right now for $3. I went ahead and bought 6 of them for the
boys.

I *think* these are fun for every age, so I wanted to share:
Michael's has 15 packs of glow bracelets for $1. (this may just be seasonal for Halloween). My toddlers loved them and I think they are fun so maybe older kids might as well. At least it's a nice filler and they worked perfectly to anchor balloons as well.

I like the idea of the Lego kit.

At Amy's party I gave out jigsaw puzzles and a book, the age range of which I had vary to suit each child.

Do they still make Big League Chew bubble gum? That would be fun for an older kid. I would ten to lean towards candy for older kids.

Thanks everyone. The party guests will mostly be ages 6-8.
I am leaning towards jumpropes but it was a very popular activity in kindergarten, but not so much this year. Is that most schools or just ours b/c there is less cement space at this age? I don't want to give out gifts which are "too babyish" and embarrass him! I might do that and a baseball and they could choose (or have both).

DD is almost 7 and would love a jumprope or a baseball. She doesn't do much jumprope this year but if she had a new rope (she just pointed one out a week ago and wanted to buy it even though she has 2!) she would def do it again. 6-8 sounds older but I think they'd be happy with anything and not to worry about it being babyish.
