Is this fun to play for a newly five yo boy? I am still thinking of bday ideas, what would we need to get started? So confused!!!

Many of the neighbor kids are really into them - the 4.5 yo and up range. DS1 is 4 and has some but doesn't really know how to play with them "correctly" but loves to make them transform and put them back together. I've never let him watch the show so he doesn't understand all of it. Yes, I would say your DS would probably like them.

You don't need much to get started. I think they only need 3 balls and some of the metal gate cards that come in the starter package!
You could buy him a tin to keep them in. they come with 2 balls and several cards (metal gate and ability cards). I think we paid 15 bucks for our DS's tin at Target last christmas. http://www.amazon.com/Bakutin-Collec...ref=pd_sim_t_5 the Baku-clip is also a cool thing. Holds 3 bakugan balls but comes with just one ball in the package http://www.amazon.com/Bakugan-BakuCl...7533199&sr=1-2 Don't need an arena unless you want another bigger "playset" mat in your household He might like this book to go along with it all http://www.amazon.com/Bakugan-Offici...ef=pd_sim_t_12 |
