Default Does anyone recognize this toy?

We get a ton of toy catalogs at our house. DD1 was flipping through one, and saw a toy she was interested in. I told her I would take a look, but now I can't figure out what catalog it was in (or even if we still have it). It was a balance scale, similar to the Haba one linked below, but it also had a set of weights with it that fit in the base. From what I remember, it was wood, but I can't even say that for 100% certainty. Has anyone seen anything like this?

No, that's not it. The one I saw was painted in primary colors, a lot like the Haba one. I would actually think the Haba one was it if it just had the weights with it. I do like the one you found though....and that website has lots of other neat things, too! Like I needed a place to spend more money online, lol.

Aha! I think I found it!!! And it's actually cheaper on Land of Nod. I love it...think I'm going to have to get one for my kiddos. Very cool toy.

Search around the boards. I'm pretty sure I saw some negative reviews about that.

I think I posted this before here, but we have this balance and while it is very nice looking, it is not balanced! DS lost interest in it quickly because, as he put it, "it doesn't work". It was a gift or I would have returned it. Even in the photo at Land of Nod, it doesn't look quite right...although ours is worse.

Wow, you all are brilliant. Nikki, the second one you found is the right one! I'm so disappointed to hear that it hasn't received great reviews. But on the positive side, you all have found some other ones for me to consider! Thanks so much!
