Default Why does EVERYTHING in my life...

-Take 4 times as long as it should...

-Get messed up somehow along the way...

-Cause me massive frustration...

-And just make me want to SCREAM!!!

Just tonight:
-still waiting for a phone call
-realized when I cut out my niece's material for her dress for Christmas that I did not measure correctly and it's going to end up being 4 inches shorter than I REALLY wanted
-DS wouldn't eat
-and I have to work tomorrow!

Oh, I'm sorry! The fabric thing would make me want to scream and cry!

I'm sorry. That sucks.

I think you *meant* to make your niece a VERY trendy tunic that can be paired with leggings. Walmart in the US has a super-cute ones with glitter on them. They are $5/pair.

Sorry for the tough day. You may have already thought of this, but could you just add a 4 inch piece of coordinating fabric to the bottom as a trim?

It's still going to be a dress - just shorter than I wanted...but not TOO short. I am going to buy a pair of leggings to go with it. She's a BEAN POLE and outgrows things by height WAY too fast.

I could, but I'm already putting an eyelet trim at the bottom...and its a reversable a-line dress, so I don't want to get too busy.

Sigh, it will be just fine...jsut NOT how I wanted it to turn out. Maybe it will be better though..

AND I did get my phone call...better late than never!

Maybe this will be the miracle week for child support to start being taken out of "daddy dearest's" paycheck?? One can only hope & pray!
