Question Additional accessories for plain wooden kitchens?

We ordered this play kitchen

http://www.amazon.com/KidKraft-53151...0288047&sr=8-1

for DD (14 months), and I like how simple it is (I didn't want a big piece of plastic w/lots of colored stickers and buttons and batteries to replace). However, I'd like to add on a few accessories to make it a little more interesting for her. I know that in 'prairie' times they didn't have these things, but that's o.k., she won't know the difference.
I'm thinking it would be fun to add a phone, maybe a little chalkboard or dry erase board to write on... Can you think of other things that could be added to a simple wooden kitchen (other than play food and such)? Any tips on how to attach them and where to put them?

Thanks!

How about this?

or a child sized mop, apron, shopping cart, handled shopping baskets, a table and chair set nearby for "dining" and tea parties.
