Question ISO Wooden play vehicles for toddler

DS is 17months old and I am looking for some wooden play vehicles like fire trucks, garbage trucks, forklifts etc. I would like something that he can push along and also have some movable parts for play. Any suggestions for reasonably priced items?

Thanks much

I like Plan Toys, Maple Landmark, Fagus for wooden vehicles.

We have Maple Landmark and Fagus toys, and they're both great. The Fagus trucks are a little heavy for Fiona (18 mo) but she still likes them. They also have mini vehicles that are really cute.

Somebody on this board mentioned Doodletown toys for wooden vehicles. After looking at them online, I had to get a set of "doodles" for DS for xmas. They are VERY cute. Simple and classic. They have wheels, so they can be pushed along. The helicopter has a moving propeller. Kind of pricey, but for a variety of eight vehicles (train, tractor, airplane, truck, etc...) not too bad. I got free shipping when I ordered them about 4 weeks ago. They have free shipping thru 12/18/09.
