Default Crate & Barrel must have

Hi all,
I am getting a CAB gift card for $150 and was wondering what to get

I was thinking of getting the Cuisinart 9 cup food processor since I've never own a food processor (well, I do have a mini chopper), but was also looking at the Zojirushi rice cooker. Does anyone know if I can use a food processor like the Cuisinart to make pizza dough?

Any other suggestions? TIA

We have a Cuisinart food processor and love it. Never used it to make pizza dough though! I'm jealous - there's a lot I would love to get at C&B!

BTW, if you have a C&B outlet anywhere near you, check it out - your $150 would go a much longer way at the outlet.

I <heart> Crate and Barrel! I like their white ceramic serving dishes, their throw pillows, drinking glasses, bakeware and their furniture. My desk is from C&B and I adore it, and I have my eye on a couple other pieces there too. I would just go to the store and wander around and see what catches your eye. IMO, their appliances can be usually found cheaper online elsewhere, so I tend to look for store specific items that other stores don't carry.

I could go broke at the Outlet ... I have one 5 minutes away.

In the year since we bought our house, I've bought a glass pitcher to use for sangria, a candy-cane striped platter for desserts, a linen hemstitch tablecloth ... and have spent hours drooling over all the pretty things available!!!

Go with the food processor. Once you have it you'll wonder how you ever went without it! It makes cooking so much faster. We have a Cuisinart and DH has used it to make pizza dough (it comes with a dough blade).

I have the 14 cup cuisinart and do use it for pizza dough, bread dought, etc. I have a kitchenaid stand mixer but when I want to make a single serving of something doughish I do it in the food processor since it kneads in about 60 seconds.

Thanks ladies. I think I'll go with the food processor.
