let me just tell you that my DH put it together last night and it is ADORABLE!!! I LOVE IT! i'm so excited for christmas so that i can play with this!! The furniture is so cute and its well made and durable. i'm so happy with this purchase and I have to thank all the mama's on this board because i was set on the Plan Toys Victorian, but this is so much better.

So glad you love it. thanks for the heads up. i was tempted to put it together while the kids napped but scared it would take me too long, LOL. was it easy for him? i've yet to pick up some wood glue as suggested by someone else on here!!!!!!!!! weeeeeeeeeeeeee, I'm more excited than the kids, LOL!!!

no, took him about 1 hour to do the house (he'll do garage and car tonight). he never complained once which has happened in the past with parts not lining up properly, screws breaking, etc. he even commented this is well built. (he also said the same thing about the badger bunk beds we got too. also very easy to put together.)

i just marveled at all the cute furniture.

wood glue....i could see how it would be helpful for the steps and front door to be glued in - especially for 3YO. is that what people are saying? what else would you use hte wood glue for?

Does anyone know, is this the lowest price this dollhouse has been seen at? I'm considering it for next Christmas (I know, I'm crazy!!!).

last year i believe it was $135 or so so roughly about the same w/shipping. I got it w/the spend $175 and get $50 off coupon. It helped a lot even though they still add on the extra large shipping. i got this to bring it up to the $175 mark. all said and done, both were $162 shipped.

we have it and surprisingly it really doesn't get that much play, especially for how expensive it was - we paid $25 for it. but now that you mention it, i'll break it out tonight since its been awhile.
