Dear DS2
Darling, screaming at the top of your lungs for an hour because you do not want to take a nap is, frankly, making me nuts. We honestly tried it your way this weekend and tried to have you skip a nap. Both days you fell asleep on the floor after 4pm, and then - even though we woke you up in less than an hour - you wanted to stay up until 11pm. Sorry dear, but this schedule does NOT work for our family. So you need to take a nap at the appointed time. If you had been sleeping instead of protesting, you'd be out of your crib by now. Really, is it worth it? Please go to sleep. Now.
Love,
Mommy, who is sleep deprived herself and would love to doze for a 1/2 hour or so since your baby brother is happily asleep on my lap.
