Default Bitch #1 My Uncle SUCKS
He failed to pay my 90 year old grandma's elctric bill. She is in Florida with 93 degree heat with no a/c or electric and his new girlfriend. I am in Boston and am not able to drive there and get her.

For those of you who remember this is the same uncle who put grandma into foreclosure, we purchased her house so she can keep living in it. Uncle is the only family who lives there and his ONLY job is to pay electric.

I called and got the bill paid (500) and after a few hours of panic it is back on. She is too scared to stay in the house and will be staying with girlfriend's sister's house.

umm, could you call the County/State Aging Department to report elder abuse? I assume she doesn't want to move to Mass--otherwise I would put her on a plane pronto!

Yes, I tried to get her to move here. I checked out apartments etc. No go. She wants to "die in her place". SIGH.
