help me find a good price on a triumph, please

My $200 techno arrived yesterday and I love it - it's much nicer than I expected. However, my husband freaked out when it saw it - his reaction was "that is *not* an umbrella stroller, we might as well take the baby jogger with us anywhere we're going to take that" (we have a BJCE). I have to say that though I love the techno, I am afraid he's sort of right.

My son is 4 months old so I'm thinking of returning it and getting a triumph. However, I'm not seeing any good prices on a triumph right now. It seems sad to return a $200 techno for a $150-170 triumph! Can you help me find a deal?

Just got the racing green triumph on albeebaby for $135 with the code 20off. It's our 2nd Triumph. The first one has endured a lot of use, and we thought there will be times when we want a 2nd lightweight single. LOVE them Love the BJCED more, though. It is soooooo useful for us!

You might want to call/check your local BRU. One near me had Triumphs for $150 and then an additional 25% off (so $113). Then you could use a 20% off coupon (I believe there was a printable one for strollers for this weekend), which would bring it down to $91...

Does anyone know if sales are more of a summer time thing? We will be going to Disney in December and I am looking to buy a Maclaren Volo for my 4 year old. While I will be looking for a used one on craigslist, if it doesn't show up, I need to know a good deal when I see one. I was going to wait until later this fall to purchase new if I have to. But are there generally good deals in the fall as well?

I got mine that way around x-mas - right after I believe (got a triumph for $85 or so. In fact they still have the same ones (but now they're a bit more $ because when I got mine it was take 30% off and now it's only 25% off, but they haven't been marked down any further)). They had the same thing going on around thanksgiving though... I don't know if it's a regular thing though. (FWIW - the volos at my store were $85, so down to about $50 with a coupon. For that price, I'd probably grab one and store it! They're more than that on my CL)

At my store they are $130 before any sales. $109 for one on sale. If it was $50 - I would not hesitate to buy one.

Also, strollers.com still has 20% off. So you can get a triumph in purple, green, gray, brown, or red for $136... You could also pricematch to diapers.com and go through fatwallet for 6% back or ebates for 4% back. Not as great as if you can find one at BRU though not a bad deal...
Another good place to check is babyproductstore on ebay. They only have girly triumphs now (pinks)... They also have some quests...
