Any fun drink ideas for 4th of July Cocktails??

We're having neighbors/friends & their kids over tomorrow late afternoon/evening time for a small bbq and I was wondering if anyone had any fun ideas for the adult cocktail. Usually there are some good beverages suggestions from this board.

Well, for something red I would say cosmopolitans (though they're strong!) or strawberry margaritas or daiquiris. Or some other sort of red spiked punch (you could also do sangria).
White, maybe piña coladas?
Blue, I don't know... berry blue Jello shots?

Oprah's Favorite Pomegranate Martini recipe

1 oz vodka
1/2 oz Cointreau® orange liqueur
3 oz pomegranate juice



Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker 1/4 filled with chopped ice. Shake and strain into a cocktail glass. Serve with a squeeze of lemon.

There are also several variations of a Blue Martini, made with Blue Curacao, that you could garnish with a cherry or strawberry.
