Default On trash day ALL the trash around the house needs to go out!

I don't get it. I just don't. DH said he would take out the trash last night (we share this duty). So, he empties the kitchen and bedrooms and takes it out. This morning I come down to start laundry. He left a FULL laundry trash can and the can in the guest bath full as well. I don't get it. How to do selectively not empty trash cans around the house on trash day?????!!! Oh, and this is not a one time thing. He does this EVERY.SINGLE.WEEK. Only it's not always the same trash cans he leaves untouched. Lest we forget that he just refuses to replace the trash can liners and throws trash away directly into the can. So, I have to go around the house and put new liners in all the trash cans now.

Again, someone else on the BBB is also married to my DH!! Mine does this all.the.time. and it is equally random. The no liner back in the can makes me nuts, especially when he throws more trash in there. GRRRRRR!

Dude, that is a PITB! I'd give him AND DS the job of taking the trash out all by themselves, weekly - like having them write out the steps (you finalize/approve it), then have DS walk through it with him, making sure he's done all the stuff on the list. Wouldn't it be funny to watch DS going, "Hey Dad, you forgot to put the liner back in! Wait....we forgot a room...back upstairs we go!!"

My DH does the same thing. If I complain about his haphazard and incomplete housework he tells me about the 80% rule....that is if things are 80% better after he cleans up, then it is fine. I obviously diagree.

Haha..my DH used to do this. He wouldn't take the trash out if the can wasn't full.

I don't know if he still does this....either he caught on or I stopped caring. Dunno.

I don't get that, either. DH never empties anything though.
