This isn't it (because I know the one you're thinking of but can't find it)--but this one is okay for the every day person: http://www.laptoplunches.com/LaptopLunchPhotos.html

Edited to add: Sigh. It makes me sad to see all the gorgeous lunches I will never pack due to my children's picky eating habits

I really like this one: http://weelicious.com/

She has a ton of great recipes there, but at the top there is a banner you can click on that says "School Lunches" and she posts a photo of what she packs for her kids every day.

WOW! Just wow! I am in total awe of these lunches. After spending over an hour looking at this site, I am inspired to go out and buy some "boxes" for my kids' lunches. I tried to phase out the plastic baggies last year and have accumulated a fair amt of smallish containers. How many of you actually make bento-type lunches like these? How long does it take? I pack for my husband, son, and DD#1 5 days a week. I need lunch for work on Thurs and Fri, and my two middle ones go to all day prek4 M, W, F. So that is a lot of lunches!! Hubby typically gets leftovers, and usually needs a fair amt of food (bfast, snack, lunch, and occas dinner too), so I'd need several larger containers for him. The others tend to be a bit pickier, and also really do not have the capability to have food reheated. I did get a "tiny bit" more creative for them at the end of last year - making my own gorp (cheerios or other non-sweetened whole grain cereal, raisins or other dried fruit, nuts, m&ms or mini choc chips), fruit kabobs, cheese and salami kabobs. I love the concept of this, but am wondering if I would actually take the (extra...how much extra??) time to cut all the food into cute little shapes and provide so much variety. I do try to make all the lunches the night before. Hubby is out the door by 5am most mornings, and I have a hard enough time getting the kids dressed, fed breakfast, hair done, etc and on the bus by 7:40. It will be harder now that I actually have to have myself ready to be out the door by 8 on the two days I work, AND I am pregnant, which for the last 2+ months has translated into unbelievably exhausted and extremely nauseous all day. Of course I know I don't actually have to make them so cutesy, but I think that is part of the charm...

i got the laptop lunches and one goodbyn. Both similar but the goodbyn is huge whereas the laptop lunch (LL) will fit perfectly w/room to spare for a drink/thermos in the LL Bean critter bag.

Seriously, the minute the LL arrived the kids went nuts. They opened and closed them about 100 times each and they all said they want to pack A,B,C & X, Y, Z. I can't wait to force myself to be more creative and eat healthier. I can very much see/agree that our kids like little bits of food w/a large variety vs one whole sandwhich or a whole bowl of soup, KWIM?

I hope the excitement continues. I know they want to help me plan/pack their own lunches which is great to see/hear
