Default Wet bag - silly ques.

Ok, so I just ordered one of these (from minimebabygear.com) and I thought that it was supposed to keep other things from getting wet. Today, I put DD's swim suit in it and when I took it out (30 min later), the entire outside of the Wet bag was wet.

Am I missing something or is this what should be happening? I am just trying to make sure I did not get a poorly made product.

thanks!

That should not happen if it was closed properly etc. DS comes home with a wetbag full of a wet swim suit in his backpack and it isn't wet in the packpack.

That is not right. The wetness should be contained. I keep a wetbags in my diaper bag for (soiled) cloth diapers when I go out. It would be uber-gross if the urine-soaked diapers leaked through.
