Default What to buy at the trade in at BRU?

I have an expiring Touriva carseat and am done with kids. I don't need a crib, stroller, etc. The only category I can think of that I'd need is another carseat. If 20% or 25% off is good enough, I might buy one. Not sure what though.

I have:
2 Boulevards expiring in early 2012
2 Radians expiring in early 2014
1 Frontier (old style)
1 Probooster (DOM is May 2010)
1 Safe Rider vest

My kids are 2, 4, and 6. With 2 more seats expiring in 18 months, I could maybe get something to replace 1 of those.

DS1 will outgrow the Radian soon, so another booster might be what to buy, but I know a Turbo booster is too wide and I think the Parkway was too wide to fit in the Malibu, but I could try.

If the Frontier is enough taller than the Radian, I think that might puzzle well enough for me to get 3 FF seats in the Malibu (RN, BV, Frontier) But, that doesn't get me far after the BV expires in 18 months.

Or maybe I'll just give them my seat and give someone else the coupon .

I needed nothing and just left the coupon on the shelf with the carseats since I didn't see anyone to give it to.

There's a super cheap cosco playpen I'm thinking about getting... for dd to put her stuffed animals in

Yeah, the limited in-store selection is kind of a bummer, I'd maybe buy a good booster if we had anything besides the Turbo and Big Kid (would a Chicco or Britax kill them to carry? sigh)

Or, hmmm...I have friends with kids that buy super junky seats when I'm not involved, maybe I should get them a Turbo (better than the Summit and Cosco HBB they started using when the Roundabout I gave them got to small. Sigh).

My BRU store has the Britax Parkway. Not in your location? That sucks. I would love to have the Montery.

Yeah, my store is low volume, which means they think we should compete with Walmart...they don't know how much business they lose because we don't have the items that the local expensive baby stores carry (we are in a pretty high end neighborhood, so it's weird we carry cheapo cosco travel systems that we can't sell, and people are begging for Radians and Peg strollers).

I think all the stores should carry the high end items. Maybe soon they will carry more high end items in more locations.

I haven't been to BRU in ages. What might I find there that would be a good extra seat for a small 23 month old? We need a seat that our friend who sometimes picks her up can keep in his car.

I was thinking of a Scenera from WalMart, would I find a deal on something that cheap at BRU?

I have an ancient Roundabout to trade in. Will BRU take it without the cover? I'd much rather sell the CowMooflauge cover than give it to them.

Most BRU stores do sell the cheap Scenera. They won't need your cover.

We don't have the Scenera at ours, just the Tribute, which I personally like a little better than the Scenera... the My Ride 65 is nice, too, kind of bulky, but lots taller and cushier, would fit her till 5-6, easily.
