Southeastern Paralyzed Veterans of America
Anyone know if this charity is on the up & up or know how I can find out? They'll do curbside pick up and I'd love to off load some items before DH gets back from deployment. It's a chore taking stuff into Goodwill with b/c DS is always with me (picture pushing a stroller and juggling boxes...no thanks) and I'm too lazy/busy/short on time (take your pick) to do Ebay or CL.

I don't know about that one, but I do know that The Purple Heart Association is legit, and a great place to donate too. Their proceeds help soldiers and their families. They will pick up at your house. You can go to their website here: http://gd.purpleheartpickup.org/gd.d...s/default.aspx

Thanks, it sounds like a lemon (1 star plus I don't like the opt-out privacy policy). I'll look into other groups including the purple heart group. Hmm...I wonder if habitat for humanity does pick up in my area?
